Rather not the mayor then a bad mayor

Finally, we have been able to get an interview with former Ternat mayor Dylan. Despite what is generally regarded as a very successful mayoral campaign Dylan decided not to run for mayor again. Today we find out why.

How are you these days? Word on the street is that you’re really busy?

Hi! I am doing good. It is true that I am rather busy lately. I have a lot of work-related stuff to do. Besides that, the pandemic has put extra stress on me, as I need to do extra things for my family.

Most people seem to be quite happy with your tenure in the mayor's office, why are you not running for office again?

I have decided I will not run for office again, because I do not have enough time to provide valuable input from my end when it comes to the mayorship. I have decided to stay low for now and maybe run for mayor again later when I have more free time.

Do you have anything you would do differently, or is there something you didn’t get around to as a mayor?

Overall, I am very satisfied with my time as mayor. I managed to do a lot of the things that I had planned. However, the last few weeks have been very messy. I could not do any builds myself, because I could not get my game to load. I had many projects that I was still working on and a few that were planned for later. Some of these, I sadly did not get around to.

What would you like to see next in Ternat, or in Yellow Hill in general?

I don’t have anything specific I would like to see. I however like the concept of Yellow Hill and would like for it to stay the way it is - an interactive and refreshing way to play the game. I am excited to see what Skib will do for the region and what Fred Owlman will do for the village of Ternat, and I am confident he will do a great job!

Schell Home Rentals has been fairly quiet on the investment front recently, will you invest more actively now that you are no longer a mayor?

Yes, that is my plan at least. Now that I do not have to focus on managing Ternat, I will try using the small amount of free time I have to create more businesses with my company and invest more in the various towns Yellow Hill has to offer.

I want to thank people for being so supportive during my term. It was a great time and I hope I have managed to satisfy as many people as possible. I hope this series will go on for a long time to come, and I am very eager to see what all investors make of it.
