Interview with our new mayor

Huge congratulations to Dylan, who won the election with a big distance from his competitors.

We obviously wanted to interview him, about he feels after the elections and what his first plans in Ternat are.

In an exclusive interview, we had the ability to ask him all these questions. So here are his very interesting answers!

First, congratulations! How were you feeling the last hours before the announcement?

Thank you! After I woke up on election day, I checked my phone right away. I was feeling really excited. We would finally find out who won.

How did you feel as soon as you read that you won the elections?

I was very happy to see the results. I also felt quite relieved because we had been waiting on this for a long time.

After all, are you even happy about the outcome of the elections?

I am very happy about the outcome. It's great to see that the work I put into my candidature really paid off.

What would you tell the other participants?

I would like to thank every participant for the work they have put into this election with their candidature. It really shows that we have a very dedicated community.

What would you say, how did you get so many, voters?

I would say that my website has helped out a lot. I have used my website to allow people to send messages and questions about my candidature. I had a lot of website traffic from viewers during the voting period, which probably helped me win quite some votes.

So, what will you do first in Ternat?

Currently, I am working together with the governor to build a new highway intersection at the border of Ternat. This is planned to reduce the amount of through-traffic in Ternat by 50%. I am also conversing with companies to help them with their plans and projects. A schedule about my planned projects for the upcoming episodes will be posted soon, where you can see everything in more detail.

We saw that you collect feedback and ideas on your site. Why do you think this is important?

I believe it's very important to do something with the feedback. Part of my task is to keep the people in Ternat happy. And there is nobody in Ternat that knows the people's complaints better than the people themselves.

Are you a little bit scared of the next few weeks or do you know exactly what you're going to do?

I wouldn't say I'm scared. However, I'm definitely still learning. As this is my first time as a mayor, I still need to figure out how a lot of things work and how to handle certain situations. I have a basic plan on how I want to do things and I try to stick to it as much as possible.

Is there anything left to say to the population of Ternat?

I want to say thanks to everyone who voted in the election. There was a pretty good turn up in the end. And please, if something is bothering you, don't hesitate to contact me. Be it through Discord or on the website. We're in this together after all.
